What you might want to know about me on a personal level: I am a Colorado native! I am a mother to an amazing daughter! Being a mom is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me!  I love Colorado and all of the seasons of fun & beauty that it provides. I just recently discovered a passion for painting.  I love being active and play a lot of pickleball. I am an avid sports fan and played competitive soccer, basketball and softball growing up..

 I began my photography career in 1991. It was the love of horses that inspired me to want to be a photographer. I love photographing all the different "categories" of my photography business. When I first start a photo session I consult with my clients about what ideas they might have. I try to bring out the love that people have for one another, whether that be as a couple or a family. I love to capture the beauty that each and every person has. I like to give a little bit of everything in a session, something that "Grandma" would appreciate and something maybe a little "different" that brings out a more candid or intimate shot. Most people don't really enjoy being photographed, but I have a way that brings an easiness to the shoot. Most people are a little nervous when they start the session, but by the end of it, they are much more relaxed and tend to have a lot of fun. I've been told that I make people feel at ease in front of a camera. I LOVE what I do for a living and the "connection" that takes place during the photo session is truly amazing. In 1999 I was recognized as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Colorado Business Council. It was an honor to receive this award. Since then I have been published in many different magazines and newspapers. I'm humbled that I have been in business for over 30 years now. I give thanks for the many people I have photographed over the years. I have been a part of people's lives and their very special and unique moments and I will  never take that for granted.
