What you might want to know about me on a personal level: I am a Colorado native (and yes  that means I LOVE the Broncos); I love Colorado and all of the seasons of fun & beauty that it provides; I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking and camping; I just recently discovered a passion for painting; I have an amazing daughter that lights my whole world up, she is the most important thing in my life! ...In fact you will most likely meet her as she is now  my assistant in most of my outdoor shoots:);  I am an avid sports fan and played competitive soccer, basketball and softball growing up; I now try to bring those positive experiences that I learned as an athlete to my daughter and help with teaching and coaching as much as I can.

I began my photography career in 1991. It was the love of horses that inspired me to want to be a photographer. I love photographing all the different "categories" of my photography business. When I first start a photo session I consult with my clients about what ideas they might have. I try to bring out the love that people have for one another, whether that be as a couple or a family, and capture the beauty that each and every person has. I like to give a little bit of everything in a session, something that "Grandma" would appreciate and something maybe a little "different" that brings out a more candid or intimate shot. Most people don't really enjoy being photographed, but I have a way that brings an easiness to the shoot. Most people are a little nervous when they start the session, but by the end of it, they are much more relaxed and tend to have a lot of fun. I've been told that I make people feel at ease in front of a camera. I LOVE what I do for a living and the "connection" that takes place during the photo session is truly amazing. In 1999 I was recognized as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Colorado Business Council. It was an honor to receive this award. Since then I have been published in many different magazines and newspapers. I'm humbled that I have been in business for over 25 years now. I give thanks for the many people I have photographed over the years. I have been a part of people's lives and their very special and unique moments and I will  never take that for granted.

I am confident that I will provide you with pictures that you will cherish for years to come. Please call the studio @ 303-422-3002 to schedule your next photo experience.
